U.S. worker judge rules that Tesla overstepped work law

Electric carmaker Tesla Inc meddled with authentic association sorting out and should peruse a notice to laborers clarifying their privileges in a gathering requiring participation from Chief Executive Elon Musk, a U.S. work judge administered on Friday.

The company submitted a progression of infringement of the National Labor Relations Act in 2017 and 2018, Amita Baman Tracy, a California authoritative law judge managed in a court recording.

Among the infringement of the law refered to in the documenting was a tweet sent by Musk in May 2018.

Nothing stopping Tesla team at our car plant from voting union. Could do so tmrw if they wanted. But why pay union dues & give up stock options for nothing? Our safety record is 2X better than when plant was UAW & everybody already gets healthcare,

The tweet added up to threatening employees with loss of investment opportunities in the event that they vote for the association, the judge said in her decision on Friday.

The decision has approached the electric carmaker to hold a gathering at its California get together plant where either Musk or his operator must advise the laborers that the National Labor Relations Board has inferred that Tesla overstepped the law.

Tesla didn't quickly react to a Reuters demand for comment on Friday's decision.

Before, the company has been plagued by safety objections brought by laborers, claims that Tesla denies. Laborers have said that extended periods of time and strain to convey vehicles rapidly incurs significant damage, and some have pushed for an association.
